So, I had my 12th wedding anniversary recently, which reminded me of something I could post here.
I don't track my wedding anniversary, don't really care to, and often don't remember the date. My wife knows all of this, as well as understands my reasoning. The reason is that I feel like tracking the wedding anniversary just ignores all of the other time a couple has been together, and those times are important, too. Especially if you were together a long time beforehand. If I were not to track the date we started dating, that's almost 6 years of time ignored, and I hate that. Though, I have agreed to celebrate every 5th year of marriage, but I entirely rely on my wife to remember. 😆
